Customer satisfaction is our ultimate goal so we serve only fresh pies, made daily and even while you watch. Fried pies were originally developed in the 19th Century as a practical way to serve a hearty meal to hardworking field hands. Cooks fried meal leftovers (folded in extra breakfast biscuit dough) and sent these little bundles of love into the fields to fuel the long days’ work. Over the years these pies have become part of many southern traditions. We have built on that wholesomeness and practicality to bring you a hand‐held, filling meal or delicious dessert. Our recipes originated in 1893 in the Arbuckle Mountains of Oklahoma with Nancy Fulton’s Grandmother. Today, Nancy and her husband Beaux operate a very successful pie shop known as Arbuckle Mountain Fried Pies in Davis, Oklahoma.
